About us

A Short Introduction to St. John’s

St. John’s is a small Church of England school in the village of Rowlands Castle, just north of Havant in Hampshire. Although the school is funded and managed by the Local Education Authority, it retains strong links with the Parish Church in the village as well as with other churches in the area. Christian principles underpin the school’s policies and culture, and help provide a safe, caring environment where all children can succeed.

The St. John’s School moto is ‘Learning Together’. This is represented pictorially in our logo by linked hands around the world. We learn together to make a difference for the better, for ourselves and the much bigger community we are part of – Rowlands Castle village, the surrounding area and the world.
