St. John's provides excellent before school and after school care through The Castle Club, managed by Debbie Cornish. As well as providing childcare for working parents, the Castle Club offers a wide range of sporting and creative after school clubs. The variety of activities available is unusual for such a small school, and the benefits are obvious; the children have enviable access to sport which helps keep them fit and healthy, and the talented people who run the creative clubs stimulate a wide range of interests from building go-karts to acting and dancing.
